

Titus Corlățean
TITUS CORLĂȚEAN is an attorney at law, Senator of Romania - President of the Senate Committee on Foreign Policy - and former Minister of Justice and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
TITUS joined CRÂZNIC&ASSOCIATES – ATTORNEYS AT LAW as Senior Partner, coordinating the international cooperation activities, as of February 2026.
TITUS has graduated the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest in 1994 and he has built an impressive career as a jurist, diplomat, and university lecturer. He has held significant legal and foreign policy roles at European level, including serving as President of Committee on the Election of Judges to the European Court of Human Rights within the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (see Curriculum Vitae).
For the next two years, 2026-2027, TITUS will serve as the representative of the Committee of Legal Affairs and Human Rights of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to the Venice Commission (European Commission for Democracy through Law).
He holds a PhD in Law and is a member of several associations and foundations active in the field of international law. Over the years, he has carried out outstanding academic teaching and scientific activities (see Curriculum Vitae).
In recognition of his distinguished merits, he was awarded the National Order “Star of Romania” in the rank of Knight in 2004 and in 2014 the Order Pro Merito Melitensi in the rank of Grand Cross, the Sovereign Military Order of Malta and the Order of Honour of the Republic of Moldova.
